IISM warmly welcomed the students of the Bachelor of Sports Management, Master of Sports Management and Post Graduate Program in Sports and Wellness Management for the academic year 2019-20.

For a structure to stand strong, its foundation has to be sound and solid. We at the International Institute of Sports Management (IISM) believe that there is a need to have a sound and solid foundation for a student to have a bright future.

That part of the year had come when we had to bid goodbye to the students of Post-Graduate Program in Sports and Wellness Management. This was technically the last time those children had stepped in as students because the next time they visit us they would be proud alumni of India’s only professional Sports Management institute.

With more and more hidden talents coming out, the Indian Football team playing well and most importantly, The Indian Super League doing well in the sports ecosystem, India hosting U-17 FIFA Women’s World Cup 2020, this sport is seeing a huge uplift.

Sports management encompasses business development, operations, venue management, administration of sporting associations and federations, content development, event management, and data analytics, among other areas.

Times of India recently published an elaborate article on the explosion of the sporting industry over the past decade. The credit of such upswing in the domain goes heavily to the number of sporting leagues that have emerged in recent years.

Admission season is just around the corner and everyone is looking to zeroing down on a college of their choice and calibre. Students with a fulsome interest in sports and its business vertical will be gearing up to get accepted at International Institute of Sports Management, Mumbai (IISM).
