IISM Knowledge Series

About IISM Knowledge Series "IISM Knowledge series” is an initiative taken by IISM to elevate the sports ecosystem in India. Under the banner, a collection of books has already been launched to spread awareness and knowledge in the Indian domain. The motive is to publish sports books written by Indian authors for the Indian audience using Indian Athletes as the muse. Since there are hardly any literary handbooks on sports in Indian sports literature, IISM feels privileged to fill the void and transform the sports scenario in India. Currently, there are three books already launched under the “IISM Knowledge Series”, named, ‘Business of Sports: The Winning Formula for Success’, authored by Mr Vinit Karnik, Head – Sports, Esports & Entertainment at GroupM South Asia, ‘Sports Psychology’ authored by Mugdha Bavare, a noted Sports Psychologist and 'G.O.A.T.S Must Be Crazy', a book written by Vishnu Govind, an alumnus of IIM Kolkata and a faculty at IISM. Many more books in the pipeline would illuminate the sports industry with sporting wisdom.
