It was my first time being on the organising side of a Marathon event and it was really amazing to see such enthusiasm amongst the people. Not only the participants but the organising team of IDBI was full of energy too. Their energy and enthusiasm made us realise that we play an extremely crucial role in the event.
On 23rd September 2018, I got an opportunity to be a part of the studio audience at the Star Sports studio in Mumbai to experience the pre-match show covering the India – Pakistan super 4 clash of the Asia Cup 2018.
World Cup, Tournaments, Asian Games, Olympics and the list goes on. While India unapologetically shines throughout the tournaments and leagues at global front and our players are receiving appreciation, let’s not miss out on the huge role played by the coaches.

Around 82% of individuals drop out of competitive sport between the age groups of 15 - 18 years, when researched further, it was found that some of the contributing factors to the dropouts are academic pressure and lack of career opportunities in sports.
Sports has been the backbone of a child’s development since ages. We no longer belong to an era where children had to choose between sports or academics.
