India was elated when Lovlina Borgohain, dominant from the first go, packed a punch and assured India a bronze medal by defeating Nien-Chin Chen in her boxing welterweight quarterfinal bout. She faced the reigning world no. 2 Busenaz Surmeneli of Turkey at the end of her race at the Olympics and performed with great spirits. She became the third Indian boxer to finish on the podium and the first Assamese woman to play at the Olympics.
India was elated with joy when we saw PV Sindhu win a bronze medal in badminton at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. This wonder girl created history by becoming the only Indian woman to win two Olympic medals and the fourth athlete to win multiple medals in the women’s singles badminton category. We were all rooting for her and were confident that she’d come back with a medal from the esteemed sporting event.

Ms. Avanti is the ‘Incharge- Academic Outreach at IISM’ and have been associated to the institute for many years now. The Sports Doyen is a sports media organization where students provide a platform for fans and experts to voice their opinions, either through live shows on YouTube and Facebook or through their website.

He is a national level athlete who decided to pursue Sports Management and contribute towards the ever-increasing sector. While studying at IISM, Bhushan established a venture of his own named TheNurtureCulture.
Vedant Garg is a student of Master’s Degree in Sports Management from batch 2019-21. Vedant is an ardent sports lover who has been a professional cricketer. At IISM, he is getting acquainted with the sports industry in depth. This year, he will be all set to enter the Sports Industry with a formal sports education. However, prior to it, he has established himself as a Sports Entrepreneur with his venture- Sport It Down.
