IISM is proud to be associated with Khelo India Youth Games, Maharashtra 2019!
Maharashtra is all geared up to host the second edition of the Khelo India Youth Games, which will officially begin on January 9 in Pune.
The competitions will take place in 18 different disciplines and over 900 athletes from the host state will take part in these games. With around 14,000 people, including 9,000 sportspersons and 4,000 managers, the infrastructure this year is quite accommodating.
IISM is extremely proud to have been associated with KIYG & facilitate not just smooth execution but also offer incomparable learning opportunity to the students.
We are elated to have 85 IISM Students across the batches of our BSM & MSM program become an active member of the execution team.
And adding onto the euphoria is the pleasure of having 40 of our students work EXCLUSIVELY for the hockey game which will happen in Mumbai.
KIYG, Maharashtra 2019, includes 18 disciplines such as :

We exult in having some of them as student heads for their respective functions & 2-3 of them at par with the functional heads for the managerial & operational aspect of the game.
This prestigious event that brings many arms of Indian sport like Indian Olympic Association (IOC), Sports Authority of India (SAI), National Sports Federations, Association of Indian Universities and School Games Federation of India together under one platform, is a reflection of the diversity of the nation’s youth.
Truly it is going to be an embodiment of an aspiring, sporting and young India. Looking forward to young India shine through its performances.
