IISM announces ‘The Edge’ a unique course for working professionals
Mumbai,19th November 2019: In order to provide working professionals an opportunity to tap their unexplored skills, the International Institute of Sports Management (IISM) has announced the IISM Edge program. The program aims to develop leadership skills and teach the professionals the ‘Art of Losing’ and dealing with failure and also equip them with the necessary skills required to pursue excellence in their careers.
Founded by former Indian Test Cricketer Nilesh Kulkarni and developed by Tarun Chauhan (Ex Managing Partner JWT) and founder of TC Consultancy the course will provide Mid and Senior level management with in-depth knowledge through lectures and seminars by industry experts in the field of sports and business.
The duration of the course is 9 months and the classes will be conducted in 7-hour sessions on weekends. The Edge will Delve into topics such as Critical Thinking, Science of Data-Driven Decision Making/ Data to Decision, Persuasion and influence, Active and Passive Listening, Conflict Management, How to handle a difficult situation, Time & Stress Management, Body Language, Planning and delivery, Negotiations and Leadership, etc.
Tarun Chauhan, Founder, TC Consultancy, Celebrated Paralympic Athlete Deepa Malik, Ex India Hockey Captain and CEO of Olympic Gold Quest , Viren Rasquinha and CEO of Capstone People Consulting, Dr Sujaya Banerjee who will all be a part of the course module we’re present at the occasion to shed light on their association.
In order to be eligible for the course, the candidate should be a graduate and has to have a minimum experience of 5 years. The Middle management wanting to level up to CEO and COO are also the target audience for the course. The Candidates will be shortlisted by an internal panel and the final candidates will be selected through an in -campus interview

The admissions for the Edge course are currently on and the first batch is scheduled to start from 1st February 2019.
